DAY 9 - FREEDOM
In July 2019, my family and I went on a 10-day island hopping trip in Palawan. It gave me an excuse to be away from my clinic and spend time with my family. My face was hot as I breathed fresh air in an open space and coughed when I swallowed seawater that splashed on my face. It may take a while to do this again because of the COVID-19 pandemic but I am looking forward to being able to travel with less hassle and less restrictions.
When you are diagnosed with cancer, you feel chained to the wall with your hands and feet tied up because you are afraid to go out for fear that you will be infected which will be a double whammy. You have shrunk yourself into a ball in the corner of the room. You have probably hidden yourself in a closet to escape. But the Lord is setting you free from old chains like false belief, a rebellious streak, envy, and even empty promises. He wants you to be free from fear because He is faithful and will not let you be tested beyond what you can bear. He will always be with you, and embrace you as you battle your disease. Soar high with eagle's wings as you explore the world of uncertainty. Grow in the love of God to achieve the true healing that you desire to become whole again.

From Hosea 14:5, "I will heal their defection, says the Lord, I will love them freely; for my wrath is turned away from them."
PRAY
Father God, I adore You and praise You for You have set me free from fear and worry about my disease. All things are possible for those who believe and with You at my side. I can do all things through Christ, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and through the intercession of Mama Mary. In Jesus Name. AMEN.
PERFORM
After your morning prayer, remove all imaginary chains from your hands and feet and exclaim, "Thank you Lord for setting me FREE!”
