DAY 38 - TEACH
They say that the easiest way to master a skill is to teach it. Teach your children so that they will not go through what you suffered. Should they go through it, teach them how they can overcome and learn from their mistakes. Your children will follow what you do rather than what you say. Practice what your preach. Set a good example that your children can emulate.
If you want your children to be healthy, make sure that you prepare something healthy that all of you will consume preferably predominantly a whole food plant based diet which is recommended for cancer patients. A healthy plate contains whole grain (rolled oats, quinoa, brown rice), a variety of fruits, vegetables, and healthy protein like beans and legumes. If you want them to move their body, take them out for a walk in the park or just go out making sure that you still practice social distancing and the proper wearing of the face mask. Remember that a face mask is not a chin diaper.
Be the mirror that your children can see. Be a beacon of light that they can follow. Be the salt that adds flavor to their everyday life. Your family is your first ministry especially your children.
From Deuteronomy 4:9, "However, take care and be earnestly on your guard not to forget the things which your own eyes have seen, nor let them slip from you memory as long as you live, but teach them to your children and to your children's children."
Father God, I glorify You for You are my Healer. Forgive me if I set a bad example especially to the young ones. Thank You for another chance to make it up to them through the guidance of the Holy Spirit and under the mantle of Mama Mary's protection. In Jesus Name. AMEN.
Before you say or do anything, stop and think if it is something you want to teach to a child who is watching you today.
