DAY 33 - TRUTH
"Mirror, Mirror, on the wall. Who is the fairest of them all?”, asked the wicked witch. The mirror replied, "It is Snow White, the fairest of them all." Sometimes, you wish for such a mirror to find out about yourself but you fail to see the truth.
You have been created in the image and likeness of God. He created all things beautiful, including you. You may have made mistakes in the past or have not been wise in your choices. But God is telling you right now, if you just go back to Him, He will restore you and make you beautiful once again. What you are going through right now are lessons from which you can learn to rebuild your life and improve your character. All these will prepare you when He calls you to do His most Holy Will.
Whenever you feel lonely, depressed or in deep pain, especially after being diagnosed with cancer, offer your trials to God and bear your sorrows and sufferings. As you surrender all to Him, He will carry you and lift you up so that you can recover from all the hardships. He wants you to trust in Him as you build your faith, strength, and character. He will help you carry Your crosses.
From John 8:25.26, "Jesus said to them ... I have much to say about you in condemnation. But the one who sent me is true, and what I heard from him I tell the world."
God, the Father, thank You for making me see that I needed to suffer in order to understand what You are trying to teach me about my disease. I learned to lean on You through all these because you have strengthened me. Please send the Holy Spirit to guide me and Your Immaculate Mother to intercede for me. In Jesus Name. AMEN.
As you face yourself in the mirror today, point to the mirror and say, "You are beautiful because you are a child of God who is perfectly, completely, and totally loved."
