TRUST - Day 32 of the Healing Journey with Jesus

DAY 32 - TRUST

Last January 2012, a month after my modified radical mastectomy, I started my chemotherapy. I was scared until I saw a poster on the wall of my surgeon’s clinic that stated: “The Big C in you is not cancer. It is Christ in you.”

God is the Father in whom you can really trust to help you when You call out His name. He will carry you on His shoulders when you feel like giving up. You can always run to Him. He will receive you with His arms wide open. Cry out to Him when your surgical wound hurts or when your stomach is acting up after chemotherapy. When you feel your head throbbing, trust that the Lord will stop the pounding in your head. When you are in pain, cry out to Him to remove the pain.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Surrender all your sufferings for He will lead You through the path of healing and recovery from cancer. You will not be tested beyond what you can bear because the Lord will equip you to awaken the healer in yourself. You just need to believe and not be afraid. Trust in God's mercy and compassion. With God, all things are possible to those who believe and trust in Him. He will send you the people you need to help you in your journey of healing. He will open doors for you to achieve the healing that you desire. Trust Him for He is watching over you.

PAUSE

From Jeremiah 17:7-8, "Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose hope is the Lord. He is a like a tree planted beside the waters that stretches out its roots to the stream. It fears not the heat when it comes, its leaves stay green; in the year of drought it shows no distress, but still bears fruit."

PRAY

Lord God, Heavenly King, teach me to trust in You that You will not give me more than I can bear. You will heal all my wounds. In Jesus Name. AMEN.

PERFORM

Start a three o-clock habit today and say, "Jesus, I trust in You".
