DAY 31 - STEWARDSHIP

St. Joseph is the spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the surrogate Father of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. At first, he was reluctant to take Mary into his home when he found out that she was pregnant. He was righteous because he wanted to divorce her quietly so as not to shame her and be stoned to death. He, however, became obedient to God's will when he did what the angel told him in a dream. He took good care of Jesus and raised Him well.

If you are a parent and God blessed you with a child, be the steward of God's creation and raise your child to be righteous, obedient and faithful. Despite being diagnosed with cancer, do not be afraid to fight for your life so that you will be able to see your children and grandchildren grow up to love and serve the Lord.

PAUSE

From Matthew 1: 24, "When Joseph awoke, he did as the angel of the Lord has commanded him and took his wife into his home."

PRAY

Almighty God, Father of all nations, thank You for this gift and for this blessing of a child I hold dear. Make me a good steward of this lovely creature whose smile I hope to see every day as I claim the healing of my disease. In Jesus Name. AMEN..
