REBIRTH - Day 27 of the Healing Journey with Jesus

Doc Joy's Baptism by Bro. Bo Sanchez at the Yardenit, in the Jordan River
DAY 27 - REBIRTH
One of the most memorable parts of the trip to the Holy Land is the rededication of our baptism at the Yardenit, in the Jordan River. My mom and older brother opted to have water from the Jordan River poured on their heads. I chose to be baptized by Bro. Bo Sanchez as I submerged my legs and felt the cold water of the Jordan River. I felt reborn. I imagined my original baptism when I was 3 months old. I felt cleansed and renewed.
When one has an old battered car that no longer runs, it needs to be repaired. Sometimes, you also have to replace some parts which are no longer working. However, when the damage is so extensive from misuse and abuse, you may probably replace it with a new car. When you get sick with cancer, your inherent capacity to heal yourself has been impaired that there is a need to resort to other means to repair the damaged cells and restore your body in the normal state. The treatment is not easy. You may experience the side effects that sometimes you feel like giving up. But if you strengthen your body through a healthy diet, regular exercise, enough sleep and positive attitude, you will make it through. It is just like being reborn as your body slowly adjust to the changes and your body recovers.
PAUSE
From Isaiah 65:17,"Thus says the Lord, Lo, I am about to create new heavens and a new earth; the things of the past shall not be remembered or come to mind ... They shall live in the houses they build, and eat the fruit of the vineyards they plant."
PRAY
Lord, Jesus Christ, thank You for the chance to be reborn. I had to suffer but I know that I will be able to overcome because You are with me. This I ask in Your Mighty Name. AMEN.
PERFORM
Imagine yourself reborn. Imagine that God cleansed you today.
