In less than a month, it will be Holy Week. It is a time to cleanse your thoughts, words and deeds. It is a time to reflect upon your mistakes and your sins of omission. Confess your sins and do penance for them. Go on a silent retreat and transform yourself in the comfort of your home. Reframe your mind. Rebuild your strength. Refresh your soul. Once you repent and have cleansed yourself, you will obtain the healing that you desire. Start with a clean slate. Be an empty canvas so that you can create a new image that is fitting in the eyes of the Lord.
Today is Day 8 of the 30 days to Change Your Life After Cancer Diagnosis. When you PAUSE, you reflect on God's words. When you PRAY, you ask for God's help, And when you PERFORM, you do your best and God will do the rest because "...faith without works is dead."(James 2:26)
From Isaiah 1:20, "Come now, let us set things right, says the Lord. Though your sins be like scarlet, they may become white as snow; though they be crimson red, they may become white as wool."
Dear Lord, I adore You and I praise You. By Your Holy Cross, You have redeemed the world. I'm truly sorry for having offended You. Please forgive all my sins and heal my disease. In Jesus Name. AMEN.
On a piece of paper, write the traits that you think separate you from the love of God using a pencil. Erase them one by one and replace them with those that bring you closer to Jesus.
