BE HOPEFUL

Updated: Mar 9, 2021

What is cancer? To some it is a terminal illness. To others, it is a death sentence. However, if you look at cancer in a different way, it may mean a detour or a redirection. It is time to review your life and find out what is cancer teaching you and what is its positive intention. It probably wants you to create a hope for the future like a better spiritual life, a more physically fit body, a calmer mental and emotional state as well as a closer family relationship.

In order to create hope for a future, set new goals to ensure your full recovery from cancer. It starts with one small step at a time. One fitness goal is to eat a healthy breakfast everyday like a platter consisting of fruits in season like watermelon, papaya, pineapple as well as cucumber, carrot and turnips sticks with a vegan dressing on the side. Another fitness goal is to move your body or exercise at least 30-45 minutes 3-5x a week. Feed your mind right. Have a hearty laugh or LOL. Attend a spiritual retreat or write your daily reflection on your own personal journal.

Today is Day 3 of the 30 days to Change Your Life After Cancer Diagnosis. When you PAUSE, you reflect on God's words. When you PRAY, you ask for God's help, And when you PERFORM, you do your best and God will do the rest because "...faith without works is dead."(James 2:26)

Through the intercession of Mama Mary and guidance of the Holy Spirit,, I ask all these in Jesus Mighty Name. AMEN.

PERFORM

Write 3 specific action steps that you will take to fulfill the goals that you set at the start of this healing of cancer journey.
