Fear paralyzes you and lowers your immune system. You become susceptible to common ailments and even chronic diseases like cancer if this fear goes unchecked for a long time. The biggest fear that almost every cancer patient feels is the fear of recurrence, progression and spread to other organs. Do not be afraid.
Today is Day 2 of the 30 days to Change Your Life After Cancer Diagnosis. When you PAUSE, you reflect on God's words. When you PRAY, you ask for God's help, And when you PERFORM, you do your best and God will do the rest because "...faith without works is dead."(James 2:26)

From Deuteronomy 31:8 "Be brave and steadfast; have no fear or dread of them, for it is I the Lord, your God, who marches with you; he will never fail you or forsake you."
PRAY
Father, I glorify you for You are my Healer! Forgive me for giving in to temptation. But I thank you, Lord, for giving me the chance to redeem myself. Grant me the grace to face each day with courage because the Big C in me is not cancer, it is Christ in me. I know that I will not be tested beyond what I can bear and with the trial, you will provide me the strength that I need to overcome. All these I ask in Jesus Name. AMEN.
PERFORM
Write about what you think and feel about you cancer diagnosis on your daily journal including your biggest fear and pain and offer them to God because you are one with the Lord in His suffering.
