Have you ever wanted to make a person pay for hurting you? In the old testament, you can seek justice by taking an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. Justice is to get what you deserve. Mercy is you don't get what you deserve. While grace is you get what you don't deserve. In all these, the Lord has been generous to judge His people based on His unconditional love. You don't even have to take revenge but let the Lord take the vengeance for you, so you will not dirty your hands. In the New Testament, Jesus encourages you to turn the other cheek instead. If you have just been diagnosed with cancer and you continue to harbor evil thoughts and feeling about someone, the more you will close yourself to receive the healing that you desire. If you have been betrayed by someone, let the Lord take care of you and He will see to it that justice is served in a way that is best. The Lord is a generous God and He will not let you be tested beyond what you can bear. He will provide the way out of your trial if you follow His will for your life. Do not take the law into your hands but instead entrust your cause to God as you give your time, talent and treasure when you choose to be generous. Today is Day 26 of the 30 days to Change Your Life After Cancer Diagnosis. When you PAUSE, you reflect on God's words. When you PRAY, you ask for God's help, And when you PERFORM, you do your best and God will do the rest because "...faith without works is dead."(James 2:26) PAUSE From Jeremiah 11:20, "But you, O Lord of hosts, O just Judge, searcher of mind and heart, let me witness the vengeance you take on them, for to you I have entrusted my cause."
