Today is the Feast Day of St. Joseph, the spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the surrogate Father of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. At first, he was reluctant to take Mary into his home when he found out that she was pregnant. But he was also righteous because he wanted to divorce her quietly so as not to shame her and be stoned to death. But he became obedient to God's will when he did what the angel told him in a dream. He took good care of Jesus and raised Him well.
If you are a parent and God has blessed you with a child, be the steward of God's creation and raise your child to be righteous, obedient and faithful. Despite being diagnosed with cancer, do not be afraid to fight for your life so that you will be able to see your children and grandchildren grow up to love and serve the Lord.
Today is Day 25 of the 30 days to Change Your Life After Cancer Diagnosis. When you PAUSE, you reflect on God's words. When you PRAY, you ask for God's help, And when you PERFORM, you do your best and God will do the rest because "...faith without works is dead."(James 2:26)

Almighty God, Father of all nations, thank you for this gift and for this blessing of a child I hold dear. Make me a good steward of this lovely creature whose smile I hope to see every day as I claim the healing of my disease. In Jesus Name. AMEN..

Be a good parent, sibling or friend to someone today and help brighten someone's day.
